We know that you have questions! Here are some FAQs for your convenience. Feel free to contact us for any further questions. 

WHERE IS YOUR OFFICE LOCATED?

  • Our office is located just 15 minutes from the SLC airport at 4015 S. West Temple, Millcreek, UT 84107.
    Please note that our location is open by appointment only.

DO YOU OFFER DELIVERY FOR A FEE? 

  • Yes, from 7am-7pm. Please call us if you require assistance outside these hours.
  • To airports, yes. We can meet you at the Heber or SLC Airport for $70 per rental contract. The Provo or Ogden Airports for $100 per contract. At the end of your rental, we will pick up the vehicle from you at the same airport’s departure curb to get you headed home quickly.
  • Local Delivery, yes. We can deliver locally in SLC or Park City for $25 to your hotel or home. This covers pick up at the end of your rental from the same location. You do not need to be present to return vehicle.

CAN I RETURN AFTER HOURS?

  • Yes, that can be arranged at all locations. Airport after-hours parking fee will be deducted from your $500 deposit once we retrieve the vehicle in the morning.

WHY DO I NEED TO PROVIDE A CREDIT CARD FOR A DEPOSIT?

  • We require a $500 deposit per vehicle when you rental contract starts. If the vehicle is returned in the same condition as rented we will refund that deposit amount. Any late return fees, extra cleaning, fuel or parking charges will be deducted from that deposit.

ARE YOUR VEHICLES AUTOMATIC OR MANUAL?

  • All of our Jeep®s and Ford® Broncos are automatic transmission and come with 4 Wheel Drive. We will show you how to engage the 4×4 when you check out the vehicle.

WHAT COMPLIMENTARY AMENITIES DO YOUR VEHICLES COME WITH? 

  • Our top of the line built vehicles seat 5 and have heated leather seats and steering wheels.
  • Vehicles all have upgraded off-road suspension systems, shocks, all-terrain DOT tires suitable for on/ off-road use and winter canyon requirements. Tire chains provided for Tollgate Canyon.
  • Rubicon and Wildtrak models have 37” tires, front and rear lockers, sway bar disconnect. We will show you how to pin up the front end when using this function.
  • On request, we can provide a small ice cooler, local trail maps, Moab trail guidebook, ski rack, child seat and suggestions for the adventure you are looking to experience.
  • JT Gladiators, have tailgate covers available for hauling mountain bikes in the Jeep® truck bed.

WHAT ADDITIONAL AMENITIES DO YOU RENT FOR MY ADVENTURE? 

  • Rooftop and Ground tents, sleeping bags and mats
  • Complete car camping packages for 2 or 4 people
  • Camp Chairs and Paddle Boards
  • Pet fee comes with rear seat cover so you can bring Rover along on the adventure.
  • Don’t want to mess with ice? Rent our plug in fridge/freezer for the vehicle cargo area. 
  • Hitting the White Rim? We offer receiver hitches for bike racks but we don’t have racks.

CAN I PRE-PURCHASE FUEL?

  • Yes you can, please call us 48 hours before your rental to add it on your contract. The rate will be the same as current costs in Salt Lake City.

WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE TIME TO REFUEL THE VEHICLE?

  • You will be charged at $10/gal to fill the tank. There is a Chevron at the SLC Airport in the Park and Wait lot if you need to fill up (note this is cheaper than filling up in Park City.)

DO YOU OFFER HALF-DAY RENTALS?

  • We do not offer reservations for half-day rentals. Our rental periods are for 24 hours at a time and time adjustments for early return can be scheduled if needed.

DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION?

  • We recommend making reservations well ahead of time to ensure that you will have one of our capable vehicles for your trip! Please note all Rentals are conducted via appointment time, we do not have walk-in service.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY?

SHOULD I GET THE TIRE AND GLASS PROTECTION?

  • We highly suggest it, especially if you will be traveling on any of the Utah freeways as windshield rock chips/cracks are very common. This protection also covers damage to one of the oversized offroad tires should that happen.
  • Coverage is $40 for the rental period. You can add it the day of pick-up, just let our representative know.

WHAT INSURANCE IS REQUIRED?

  • If you are over 25 and from Canada or the USA, you can cover the vehicle with your personal full coverage auto policy. You will need to send a photo to us prior to the rental.
  • If you do not have full coverage auto policy, you will need provide your insurance policy and additionally purchase our rental collision policy at $35/day.

CAN I RENT IF I AM NOT OVER 25?

  • Yes, you will be required to purchase our rental collision policy at $35/day.

HOW DO I GET INSURANCE TO RENT A JEEP® IF I AM FROM OUT OF THE USA?

  • You can set up auto rental insurance before your trip at www.bonzah.com. At a minimum, you will need to purchase the “damage coverage” and “Renters contingent liability” for Utah. Additional coverages are available on their website.
  • Each driver for the vehicle will need the above policies.

HOW DO I RETURN THE VEHICLE?

  • You will return it to the same location you picked up from unless pre-arranged with our staff. We will advise you on where to meet us/leave the keys.
  • You will need to return the vehicle in the same condition as rented:
    * Fill the unleaded tank (no special octane required)
    * Remove all your belongings and trash
    * If you go mudding and the exterior is excessively dirty please wash it. Regular road dirt/dust is expected.
    * If you head to Moab or the desert with the windows down, you will be expected to vacuum out the interior as well.

DO YOU HAVE A MILEAGE LIMIT ON YOUR RENTALS?

  • No, we do not have a mileage limit.

IF I GO OFFROAD, CAN I LOWER THE TIRE PRESSURE?

  • Yes, you must air back up to 36 psi before driving on the highway.
  • In Moab, the best place to air up for FREE is the Chevron on the south end of town. The compressor is located on the back side of their car wash.

CAN I DRIVE A JEEP® TO MOAB?

  • Yes, an additional waiver will need to be signed with restricted trails and we will send you with a map guide book and suggested trails. Sports are only allowed on Easy Trails. Rubicon Jeeps are not allowed on trails with a Moab rating over 6. If you are experienced in Moab Trails and wish to tackle a trail above that rating please call and speak with us.
